One of the most well-known personalities in coaching and in the world of self-development authorship is Jack Canfield. He started his career as a high school teacher, then after a year he switched to another branch of education, personal development. His experience in teaching influenced some of his books as 100 Ways to Enhance Self-Concept in the Classroom: A Handbook for Teachers and Parents (1976) or the book series where he coauthored Chicken Soup for the Soul(1993) and Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul(1997). He has written more than 250 titles and some of his books were translated into more than 40 languages.

The Principles of Success: Getting from Where You Are to Where You Want to Beis one of his most successful books, co-written with Janet Switzer. He presents ideas that were raised to the rank of principles for attaining your goals and creating the life that you desire.
