About Me

I have been selected to participate as a Leadership Ambassador at the Toronto World Leadership Forum.

I am a Human Rights Specialist with over 15 years of experience in conflict contexts across Asia, Africa, Europe and South America. I am currently a Women and Youth Empowerment Expert at UNDP (United Nations Development Programme).

I am focused on human rights, democratization, education, media, and gender/ youth empowerment. That is why; I founded Amanuddin Foundation, an Afghan-American organization which promotes the culture of peace and non-violence in Afghanistan and implements wellness and mental health programs among prisoners, women, soldiers, and kids. To implement the inner-peace keeping program, I created the Inner Peace Corps, for humanitarian and refugees in the Middle East suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

The Toronto World Leadership Forum represents a great opportunity to promote the emergent issues nowadays regarding peace, and a great chance to come to innovative decisions towards a relevant change in the areas of leadership, and peace around the globe.

I have the role to identify, select and invite people with similar vision and preoccupations that could belong to my distinguished delegation.

The Mission

Toronto World Leadership Forum has the mission to host international forums that create the roots of a movement for prosperity through peace. Each forum will include speakers with valuable tools for leadership, a framework for collaborative strategies and innovation and an opportunity to create networks with other leaders in the movement for peace from business, politics, academia, and grassroots civil society.
