Jack Canfield, a worldwide known bestseller author and leadership trainer will introduce us to “Success Principles in Leadership”.
Jack Canfield was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on August 19, 1944. He is an American author, motivational speaker, seminary leader, corporate and business coach. Canfield is co-author with Mark Victor Hansen of the book Chicken Soup for the Soul. He has more than 250 titles and 500 million copies printed in more than 40 languages. According to USA Today it was the third best-selling book in 1990. In 2005 Canfield wrote along with Janet Switzer The Principles of Success: Getting from Where You Are to Where You Want to Be.
He lived his adolescence in Wheeling, West Virginia. He graduated from the Linsly Military Institute in 1962. He received an honorary doctorate from Santa Monica University in 1981. He is the founder and CEO of The Canfield Training Group in Santa Barbara, California, and started the Foundation for Self-esteem in Culver City, in that same state. He won a Guinness record for having won seven books on the New York Times bestseller list. In 2006 Canfield was featured in a self-developed film called The Secret.
Canfield married in 1971 and had four children before his divorce in 1976. A few years later he remarried and had a fifth child. He divorced in 1999 and married for the third time in 2001.
