Biography

Lisa “Longball” Vlooswyk is a 7-Time Canadian Long Drive Champion and specialist in Peak Performance.

Her speech on “Drive Determines Distance” will challenge audiences to push boundaries and take risks to maximize peak performance in personal and professional productivity.

Lisa is a 7-Time Canadian Long Drive Champion and placed Top 5 at the 2016 World Long Drive Championships.  Lisa walks her talk.  Not only does she encourage and inspire her audiences to take risks and preserve, she lives those ideals herself.  She currently is competing at a World Class level against athletes that are 2 decades her junior and is proud to be the only mom in the field. She is an LDA Tour Champion and Callaway Golf sponsored athlete.  Lisa was the first woman to ever hit it the length of 3 ½ NFL football fields in competition and currently holds the Canadian Women’s Long Drive record at 350 yards 2 feet 2 inches. Lisa recently won Golfweek Magazine’s Golf Fest Entertainer of the Year award. In addition to her competitive career, Lisa is a golf journalist for several publications including Inside Golf Magazine and has had her own column in Golf Digest Canada.

Lisa uses her vast experience as a World Class athlete to be a successful keynote Peak Performance speaker at Conferences and Conventions across North America.  She uses real life and relevant examples in the areas of Intrinsic Motivation, Goal Setting, Perseverance and Collaboration. Lisa provides concrete and effective take away strategies that can be implemented immediately that will serve to reignite personal drive, peak performance and productivity.

Continuing her passion for the game of golf, Lisa is a Golf Entertainer for many Corporate/Charity Golf Tournaments across Canada and abroad, including PGA Tour and Champions Tour events and runs her own Golf School for Women both in Canada and the United States. Lisa was honored to receive the BMO Celebrating Women Award in 2016 for Expansion and Growth in Small Business.
